By merging Angkor's ancient temples with cutting-edge multimedia and expert insights, Dougald has created the only book I recommend to everyone who tells me they're going to Angkor. Whether you're a first-timer, a longtime Angkor visitor, or just interested in learning more about this ancient culture, An Interactive Guide to Angkor should be your first stop. I can't recommend it enough.
  • By far the best guide to Angkor out there...

I had been to the temples several times--sometimes with a guidebook, sometimes just winging it--and thought I knew a thing or two about them, but exploring them with An Interactive Guide to Angkor made me realize that I didn't know jack. Highly recommended!

I had visited some of the temples on a previous visit and enjoyed looking at them but, when I found this audio tour on a more recent visit it made the sites come alive. I had more of an understanding about the people who built them and the vibrancy of life that they were the center of when the Khmer empire was at its peak.
